The rug is very soft and pretty but it is NOT slip resistant. A little disappointed because I wanted to put it on my hardwood floor without having to put a slip pad under it. A larger size might work if you have furniture on it to hold it in place. I gave it a 4 star because of this. I've bought rugs like this elsewhere and they are slip resistant, this rug is not even close to being slip resistant. I kept it because it was so pretty and going to put it on a carpeted floor.

The pattern is very beautiful and stylish. I liked it.

I was so surprised when I received this rug.It is beautiful! I ordered a second one. I just wish it was 12 inches wider and 12 inches longer.
