Only people who know a lot about guitars can assemble it, there is no manual, you need tools, and anyway, it is very inconvenient, I hate that there is no manual

kit went together easily and it had everything it needed to be assembled and played in no time. The kit uses quick connectors for both the output and the ground wire so there is no soldering required. Neck profile I would compare to an Ibanez GIO, and mine needed no fret work done prior to installation, the fret job was immaculate. Sound of the single coils is quite nice but the body is also routed for humbuckers, in a HSH setup. I have a humbucker loaded pickguard that I will eventually get round to swapping into this thing when I can be bothered with the soldering required.
Pros:
*the neck is honestly really nice and plays better than mid range ibanez in my opinion
*it could be put together in working order on day 1 if you didn't care to 'finish' the guitar
Cons:
*do NOT use the supplied strings - I installed these and the ball ends got COMPLETELY jammed due to the rough cut of the ball ends. To get the strings out required COMPLETE disassembly of the bridge plate (unscrewing all the saddles, unscrewing the bridge from the body, unscrewing the bottom block from the top plate) YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
This would make a really great gift for a guitar mad handy person in your life. I had my chosen finish and headstock shaped within 4 days :)
